We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to ensure that product development projects are executed on time, within budget, and aligned with our high-quality outcomes. This role is ideal for a strong project manager who is passionate about product development and customer success in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Project Delivery: Manage the full lifecycle of product development projects—from initiation through execution to closure. Ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Own Project Scope: Define, document, and control the scope in close collaboration with internal stakeholders, ensuring all parties are aligned and expectations are clearly set.
- Drive Project Success: Take full ownership of project outcomes, delivering results that align with the goals of product development and customer satisfaction.
- Act as Primary Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact between internal teams, and other stakeholders. Ensure smooth communication and seamless coordination across all levels of the organisation.
- Facilitate Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate efforts across engineering, product management, procurement, prototyping, and other key functions to achieve desired outcomes.
- Proactively Manage Risks: Identify potential risks early in the process and implement mitigation plans to minimize impact on project timelines, scope, and quality.
- Adapt to Change: Effectively evaluate and manage change requests, ensuring responsiveness to evolving customer needs while keeping the project on track.
In order to succeed in the role, you shall:
- 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional product development projects in the technology or defence sector.
- Proven experience coordinating between various engineering (software, hardware, T&V) prototyping and procurement teams.
- Technical acumen and experience in product development processes.
- Clear and structured communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Can-do attitude and adaptiveness with the ability to maintain a positive, action-oriented mindset in the face of project challenges or shifting priorities.
- A proactive mindset in risk and issue management, using planning tools and scenario thinking.
- Proven experience in Project planning and tracking (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
- Proficiency in tools like MS Project, Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
