Join us as a Product Development and Support Manager in Investor Services - Service Delivery Division
The Product Development and Support Manager is responsible for driving the execution of large, complex inter-disciplinary programs and projects through the project development life cycle. The individual works closely with sponsors and stakeholders to understand product investment strategy, define scope and deliverables, and ensure funding and staffing are available to meet program goals. The Product Development and Support Manager is responsible for leading project teams of Project Managers and Analysts working to ensure adherence to execution standards and successful delivery of project goals and commitments. This individual is also responsible for establishing the program roadmap working with the Sponsor and Senior Stakeholders, measuring program success, and resolving and/or escalating program issues appropriately.
This particular role will focus on supporting the Fund Administration Department which supports BBH clients in the areas of Expense Administration, Financial Reporting, Performance Measurement, Portfolio Compliance, Tax Services, Regulatory Reporting and Corporate Secretary.
Job Responsibilities:
Works closely with sponsors and stakeholders to understand investment strategy, set program priorities, and ensure funding and staffing are available to meet program delivery goals.
Responsible for driving the execution of a portfolio of projects that cut across multiple applications, services/products and/or divisions.
Accountable for ensuring projects are delivered on plan and business objectives are achieved
Providers leadership across virtual teams to resolve issues and constraints that put the successful delivery of a Product project portfolio at risk; facilitates resolution through workshops, business design and collaboration exercises
Facilitates trade off decisions between quality, costs, resources, scope and time to prioritize demand.
Provides overall leadership and guidance to team and coordinates schedules and other program activities. Effectively manages and allocates resources to ensure deliverables are completed.
Presents program updates to line of business/division senior leadership teams and/or oversight committees.
Interacts with Division Executives up to and including MD and sometimes Principal or Partner level.
Provides updates, communicates effectively and negotiates with project sponsors, stakeholders and external vendors.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES:
Education Level - BA or Equivalent
Relevant Professional Experience - 10+ Yrs
Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrated understanding of project and program management principles, tools and techniques; knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
Experience in people management; demonstrated Influencing and leadership skills, including negotiation and conflict management
Customer-focused perspective and mindset
Strong communication and presentation skills; able to communicate effectively with division executives, clients, and other external stakeholders.
Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Demonstrated planning, organization, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Experience in risk management
Experience in change management; ability to learn, adapt, and apply new concepts and technologies
Proficiency working with project management software (e.g., Broadcom Clarity, MS Project)
Proficient in use of MS Office applications
