We are looking for an experienced Golang Developer to take a lead role in building and optimizing high-throughput bidding systems within the context of programmatic advertising. You’ll be responsible for designing and evolving bidder infrastructure, collaborating directly with clients, and ensuring systems meet strict low-latency and real-time requirements.
This is you
- 5+ years of backend experience, with 3+ years of Go (Golang) in production.
- Strong grasp of idiomatic Go, interfaces, goroutines, and testing.
- Proficiency in concurrency: mutexes, channels, race condition avoidance, and throughput tuning.
- Experience building and scaling HTTP and REST APIs.
- Familiarity with gRPC and Protocol Buffers (nice to have).
- Deep understanding of low-latency, high-throughput system design (100k+ QPS preferred).
- Experience with profiling and debugging tools: pprof, trace, memory and CPU bottleneck identification.
- Competence with caching strategies, load balancing, and performance benchmarking.
- Hands-on experience with OpenRTB protocol and real-time bidder infrastructure.
- In-depth understanding of the programmatic ad ecosystem, especially DSPs and RTB mechanics.
- Experience with containerization: Docker & Docker Compose (multi-container setups, efficient Dockerfiles).
- Familiarity with AWS (or similar cloud platforms): EC2, S3, Kinesis, Lambda, IAM, and VPC basics.
- Knowledge of metrics and observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Comfortable with Git workflows, shell scripting, and handling CI/CD pipelines.
