About the Role:
- Lead and manage the delivery of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Environmental, Social (& Health) Impact Assessment (ESIA/ESHIA) projects across various sectors – with a strong focus on renewables (offshore & onshore wind, BESS, PV), ensuring compliance with local and international regulations.
- Develop and implement strategies to assess and mitigate environmental and social risks and impacts associated with client operations and projects.
- Prepare environmental/Social management plans (EMP/ESMP) on environmental parameters such as air, water, noise, land use, soil etc.
- Conduct environmental due diligence and similar assessments based on established international standards (EP, IFC, EBRD) and preparation of corrective action plans.
- Provide technical expertise on environmental permitting, impact studies, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to design sustainable solutions that align with business goals and regulatory frameworks.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure successful delivery.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for business development and expansion of services.
- Mentor and develop junior consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
- Prepare high-quality proposals, reports, and presentations to support client engagement and project delivery.
About You:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in environmental consulting or industry, with a strong focus on EIAs/ESIAs and related permitting processes.
- Proven track record of managing complex, large-scale EIA/ESIA projects across various industries.
- Comprehensive knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and best practices at local, regional, and international levels.
- Experience with project finance and practical knowledge of international standards - IFC Performance Standards and Equator Principles will be a strong plus
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to engage with clients and stakeholders effectively.
- Fluency in English and Polish.
