Environmental Expert

Responsibilities
As our Environmental Team continues to grow, we are looking for experienced and independent professionals with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
With hands-on experience in:
- Preparing environmental impact assessment (EIA) documentation (screening reports, full EIA reports, Natura 2000 impact assessments);
Conducting acoustic analyses (e.g. modeling of transportation, industrial, or construction noise);
Carrying out environmental inventories and preparing specialized expert reports (e.g. ornithological, chiropterological, herpetological, etc.).
With knowledge and passion for sustainable development:
- Understanding the importance and practical application of ESG standards and environmental strategies;
- Familiarity with international climate reporting and management frameworks (e.g. GHG Protocol, TCFD, SBTi);
- Experience in carbon footprint analysis, developing decarbonization strategies, or assessing climate-related risks.
Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibility in this role will be the end-to-end management of administrative procedures related to environmental impact assessments, including cooperation with public authorities and representing the investor in formal proceedings.
Depending on your expertise, additional tasks may include:
- Preparing or reviewing acoustic analyses;
- Conducting environmental field inventories and preparing environmental expert reports;
- Participating in projects related to sustainability, ESG, and climate consulting (e.g. carbon footprint analysis, decarbonization strategy, environmental reporting).
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in one of the following areas: EIA, acoustics, nature conservation, or ESG/climate;
- Knowledge of environmental impact assessment laws and administrative procedures;
- Ability to independently prepare environmental documentation (screening reports, EIA reports, applications to RDOŚ/GDOŚ);
- A university degree in a relevant field (environmental protection, environmental engineering, biology, geography, climatology, acoustics, or related disciplines);
- Experience in environmental noise analysis (familiarity with SoundPLAN, CadnaA, or equivalent tools);
- Practical experience in environmental inventories or environmental supervision;
- Familiarity with ESG standards and climate tools (GHG Protocol, TCFD, SBTi);
- Experience in carbon footprint assessments, decarbonization strategies, or non-financial reporting.
