Student: one adult learner – mix of face-to-face and virtual lessons
Availability: Monday or Friday 8–9 am, or 11/12 pm, or 12/1 pm (defined and aligned days between 8–10 am or 4–6 pm; schedule may vary week by week)
Preferred start date: ASAP
Lesson Frequency: once per week
Lesson Duration: 60 minutes
Student’s location: Warsaw, Poland (near Tadeusza Boya-Żeleńskiego 00-621 and Żwirki i Wigury 18A, 02-092 Śródmieście)
Preferred platform: in-person and virtual
Current target language level: complete beginner
Native and other spoken languages: German (native), English, Italian
Student’s language needs and goals: Everyday communication, pronunciation, and basic conversation (e.g. with neighbors). Enjoys a mix of grammar, exercises, and conversation (in later stages). Likes structured lessons with a focus on understanding grammar.
Additional Information: Interests include sports (tennis, yoga, skiing, running, gym), cooking, baking, films, and books
Relocation: planned for February 2025
Responsibilities:
Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals
Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner
Qualifications:
Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
Minimum of two years of experience
Experience teaching adults is preferred
