The role requires a solid understanding of the end-to-end payroll process, particularly in Poland, and hands-on experience managing both blue- and white-collar payroll complexities, including different inputs and outputs, third parties’ interfaces, time tracking, shift premiums, overtime, bonuses and tax filling/compliance.
Key responsibilities :
Timely and accurate execution of payroll processes for blue-collar and white-collar populations.
Resolution of payroll-related employee inquiries and more complex escalations.
Close collaboration with HR Operations, Finance, HR Business Partners, employees and external vendors.
Adherence to the payroll calendar and cutoff deadlines.
Management of time and attendance integrations, especially relevant for shift-based roles.
Reconciliation of payroll outputs and validation of gross-to-net calculations.
Oversight of social security, PIT, and ZUS reporting requirements.
Payroll input validation (e.g., bonuses, allowances, sick leaves, overtime, shift differentials).
Integration data management (connector between Workday and GlobalView 2025/Dayforce 2026); act as a bridge between Workday and Dayforce (from 2026).
Preparation and distribution of reports & statements for internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Finance, HRBP, HR Ops, GUS, Statistic Office).
Contribution to continuous process improvements and standardization.
Key requirements:
Min. Bachelor’s degree in relevant educational field (finance preferred); post-diploma degree will be an advantage.
Payroll qualification/certification (Poland-specific preferred).
3–5 years of payroll and HR experience in Poland, ideally including both manufacturing and corporate environments.
Strong knowledge of Polish payroll/labor/taxes laws and regulations.
Familiarity with blue-collar payroll rules, including variable pay, time tracking systems and union agreement elements.
Familiarity/practical experience in using any global payroll system(s); Dayforce (Ceridian) experience will be a strong advantage.
Experience in payroll implementation, migration or system upgrades will be an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft tools.
Native/fluent Polish and min. good English is a must.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to details, ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
Comfortable working in a shared services or matrix environment.
