What you'll do
- Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and reliability of Product Lifecycle Management and Product Liability systems to support seamless operations and user support.
- Develop the event categorization framework to qualify events and determine remediating actions.
- Efficiently manage and resolve user tickets, including incidents and service requests, to minimize downtime, boost user productivity, and consistently improve resolution rates while ensuring operational excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technology solutions that Support business transformation and innovation.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and support future enhancements.
- Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement, driving continuous optimization of technology operations.
- Resolve technical issues by providing timely and effective solutions, contributing to uninterrupted IT operations and improved user satisfaction.
Who you are
- Proven experience in IT service management, preferably within Research and Development.
- Experiences with managing the Microsoft technology stack: SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, .NET, ASP.NET, IIS
- Experiences with web application technologies and architectural concepts: webservices (REST + SOAP), rich-client applications, HTTP, OpenSSH, debugging web applications
- Possessing effective communication skills to align teams and inspire confidence.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology.
- Proficiency in English( German will be an asset)
