Division : EB Operations
Securities Lending and Borrowing is a key service within Euroclear Bank, designed to enhance settlement efficiency by aligning lendable supply with borrowing demand. This enables participants to meet their settlement and custody obligations more effectively.
As part of the SLB team, you will play a vital role in ensuring operational excellence and supporting continuous improvement. Your contributions will help us meet client expectations and deliver a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain SLB profiles and accounts in line with client instructions (e.g. new contracts, inclusions/exclusions).
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions, control checks, and reporting.
- Support Commercial Account Managers with queries related to SLB operations.
- Execute daily tasks and critical controls within agreed timelines.
- Actively contribute to team improvement by identifying process gaps, reviewing procedures, and participating in initiatives and projects.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and respond independently to internal and external client queries.
- Escalate any issues that may impact the operational environment to management and peers.
Qualifications:
- Comfortable engaging with stakeholders across departments and locations.
- Prior experience in a financial or banking environment is an asset.
- Demonstrates initiative, a positive mindset, and a solution-oriented approach.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written communication and professional tone in English.
- Flexible with working hours (shifts between 08:30 and 18:30).
- Able to work autonomously and contribute to ongoing and new projects.
- Adaptable to evolving processes and ways of working.
