Mechanical Designer

We offer flexible options for cooperation, including:

• Employment Contract (full-time or part-time).
• Contract for Services (e.g., with freelancers or sole proprietors).
• Contract for Specific Work (for project-based assignments).

You can choose to work:

• On-site at our office in Jawor.
• Remotely from anywhere, with the possibility of occasional in-office meetings.
• Hybrid model, combining remote and on-site work based on your preference and project needs.

Responsibilities:

• Designing mechanical elements of the product, such as casings, mountings, and cooling systems.
• Cooperation with PCB designers to integrate mechanics with electronics (Design for Assembly, DFA).
• Preparation of technical documentation and 3D drawings for production.
• Cooperation with suppliers in the selection of materials and production technologies (e.g. injection molding, CNC).
• Testing and validation of mechanical solutions, including strength analysis.

Requirements and Expectations for Mechanical Designer:

• Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design, product development, or a similar role.

• Technical Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, CNC machining, 3D printing).
  • Knowledge of product lifecycle from concept to production.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in mechanical design.

• Tools and Software:

  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Fusion 360, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or Creo).
  • Experience with simulation and analysis tools (e.g., FEA, CFD).
  • Familiarity with PDM/PLM systems for managing design files and revisions.

• Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address design challenges.
  • Creativity in developing innovative and efficient solutions.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in creating technical drawings and documentation.

• Personal Qualities:

  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and clients.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
  • Openness to feedback and a commitment to continuous improvement.

• Flexibility:

  • Willingness to adapt designs based on manufacturing constraints or client requirements.
  • Availability to travel occasionally for on-site design reviews, testing, or supplier visits.

• Additional Requirements:

  • Familiarity with prototyping techniques and tools.
  • Knowledge of sustainability and eco-friendly design practices is a plus.
