Job purpose
As an intern in our eDrive mechanical development team, you will support ongoing product development projects by contributing to technical project coordination, data management, and engineering process support. The role bridges engineering and digital tools, with tasks ranging from managing development activities in JIRA, organizing technical data in Teamcenter, to automating reporting tasks using Power Automate.
You will gain first-hand experience in requirement analysis, DFMEA preparation, and cross-functional collaboration, while helping to improve efficiency and transparency in our development processes for future eDrive systems.
Key responsibilities
- Support technical task and milestone tracking using JIRA, including setup and maintenance of development items.
- Assist in organizing product data, BOMs, and documentation in Teamcenter (PDM)
- Contribute to requirement analysis and tracking using Polarion, including linking technical requirements with project deliverables
- Develop or improve Power Automate workflows to streamline data handling and reporting across systems (e.g., JIRA, SharePoint, Excel)
- Participate in development status assessments, milestone preparation, and internal reviews
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers and project leads to collect technical input and enhance project visibility
- Assist with administrative and coordination tasks in support of the mechanical development team
What we are looking for
- Student of Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field
- Availability of minimum 2,5-3 days per a week
- Very good written and spoken English is required
- Willingness to learn new tools and processes
- Self-directed / self-motivated personality
Preferred Requirements
- Basic understanding of engineering development processes, especially in requirements and quality topics (e.g., DFMEA, V-model, etc.)
- Experience or high interest in working with tools like JIRA, Teamcenter, Polarion, and Power Automate
- Structured, analytical, and proactive way of working

- Technical Interview (1h) - Conducted with the manager and an additional team member, this stage focuses on evaluating your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. The interview can be held via Teams or at our office
