THE ROLE:
The Marketing Manager is responsible for the assigned brand(s) to develop, implement and oversee the marketing strategy, aligned with the Brand(s) and Astara Western Europe’s objectives to achieve sales targets and enhance market visibility. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective execution of campaigns, budget management, and continuous improvement of marketing efforts.
MAIN FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic planning and Business Development:
- Search and implement new opportunities for promotion and brand presence in the media in order to find potential customers.
- Analyse industry trends to identify opportunities and threats.
- Ensure compliance with local laws and industry regulations and the OEM’s and Astara’s standards.
Financial Management:
- Plan yearly media budgets, campaigns, media channels in line with the Brand’s and Astara Western Europe’s strategy/local volume ambitions.
- Supervise processes and budget compliance regarding media planning and other marketing costs.
- Manage the invoice process: create purchase orders, ensure correct receipt of invoices
Marketing communications:
- Monitor and optimize operational processes to increase efficiency and profitability.
- Supervise and coordinate the development and implementation of the advertising campaign and other marketing activities.
- Supervise the work of agencies and suppliers, manage contracts and assess agencies to achieve the highest possible cost efficiency and quality of work.
- Analyse campaign results using KPI’s.
- Represent the Brand and Astara at conferences, industry meetings and external events.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing/communications/product strategy, preferably in global companies
Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, including the ability to prioritize tasks
Knowledge of trends in advertising and marketing
Knowledge of project management tools
Knowledge of analytical tools such as Google Analytics
