Position: Lab Storekeeping - Working Student
Duration: 12 months with the possibility to prolong
Location: Poland, Krakow or Wroclaw (hybrid)
Education Recommendations: Active student status for at least one year
A global R&D Laboratories organization is seeking a Working Student to join the Laboratory team (Intralogistics sub-squad) in Wroclaw. As the content owner, operator, and designer, the team ensures the operation of industry-leading R&D laboratories. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the local Laboratory team and coordinate with Laboratory teams across 16 sites worldwide.
As part of our team, you will:
- Take care of the inventory for common laboratory assets
- Be responsible for storage management
- Ship and receive delivery of lab equipment
- Direct cooperation with internal customers (engineers, managers, lab teams)
- Conduct periodic warehouse inventories
- Act as a liaison between the internal teams and the external subcontractors or vendors
- Implement service improvements
Please be informed that workload is divided 70% physical activities vs 30% work at desk.
You have:
- Active student status
- Good communication in English (both written and spoken)
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel)
- Open to work from the Wroclaw office
- Availability to work on-site in Wroclaw in Laboratories and Warehouses (multiple buildings across the city)
- Ability to cooperate closely with external suppliers and subcontractors
- Good communication skills and ability to maintain high standards in challenging situations
- Disciplined and focused on details
It would be nice if you also had:
• Familiar with the JIRA ticketing system
• Experience with Agile Service Delivery or ITIL
• Experience with using various transportation aids e.g. pallet trucks, stackers
• Forklift operator qualifications certified by UDT
