We are seeking an organized and proactive Junior Health & Safety Specialist to join our team and contribute to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards and regulations, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with employees and supervisors.
Responsibilities
- Supervise working conditions and ensure compliance with fire and occupational health and safety regulations
- Participate in creating documents such as instructions, procedures, and internal regulations related to OHS
- Organize and conduct OHS training sessions in both Polish and English
- Prepare detailed post-accident documentation, investigating circumstances and causes of workplace incidents
- Monitor hazardous events and report threats to supervisors regularly
- Perform risk assessment analyses and maintain updated risk management plans
- Support the development and implementation of OHS-related procedures for internal operations
- Represent the company during inspections by public authorities, including labor and health inspectors
- Collaborate with office building administration regarding technical reviews and fire safety compliance
- Contribute to the OHS Committee’s initiatives and discussions
- Coordinate Emergency Response Team actions during critical situations
- Assist with other tasks and responsibilities as per current labor regulations and supervisor requests
Requirements
- Background in OHS, preferably with education specializing in Health and Safety
- At least 1-2 years of experience in an OHS-related position
- Qualifications and ability to conduct OHS training sessions effectively
- Practical knowledge of OHS and fire regulations, risk assessments, and compliance policies
- Proficiency in English to deliver training and communicate with colleagues
- Initiative, self-reliance, and strong problem-solving skills
- Competency to handle stress and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
