Job Summary
As a BI Client Consultant at NIQ, you’ll act as the bridge between our Business Intelligence platforms and clients across Europe and beyond. You’ll support clients in using our BI tools (such as Discover) to unlock value from their data, helping them make informed decisions. This is a client-facing role with a strong focus on communication, insight delivery, and solution consulting — not coding. You’ll collaborate with international teams, contribute to solution scoping, and be proactive in identifying business opportunities from client interactions.
Qualifications:
1–3 years of experience in client service, ideally within FMCG or data/BI-related fields
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; confident in direct client interaction
Fluent in English (B2+ level); any additional language is a plus
Familiarity with BI tools such as Discover, PowerBI, MicroStrategy, or similar platforms
Basic understanding of BI concepts and data workflows; knowledge of SQL or Python is a plus but not mandatory
Project coordination skills and ability to manage priorities across multiple clients
Ability to work independently in a remote, international, and cross-functional environment
Strong organizational and problem-solving mindset with a proactive attitude
Passion for using technology to solve business challenges
Key Responsibilities:
Support NIQ clients in understanding and effectively using BI platforms like Discover
Discuss and co-create BI solutions that meet clients’ recurrent and evolving data needs
Deliver and maintain standardized reporting solutions across multiple markets and currencies
Participate in client meetings to gather requirements, identify gaps, and propose insights-driven solutions
Identify client needs that could translate into future opportunities (e.g. upselling or new project leads)
Act as a connector between client teams and internal delivery teams to ensure smooth execution
Support user education and adoption through clear, concise communication and training
Escalate issues appropriately and follow up proactively to resolve challenges
Collaborate closely with the manager and West Market lead to align delivery priorities
Work alongside international teams, including India-based delivery teams, to drive solution success
Contribute to a culture of continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and process improvement
