Responsibilities
- Support daily bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, corporate cards and bank reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with Polish accounting standards and internal accounting policies.
- Support the preparation of VAT and CIT tax returns and other statutory reports.
- Coordinate with payroll providers to ensure accurate payroll records and employee expense documentation.
- Assist in monthly and yearly closing activities, including gathering and organizing supporting documentation.
- Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and files to ensure audit readiness.
- Collaborate with other departments (HR, Legal, Operations) to collect financial data and clarify transactions.
- Participate in the implementation and improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.
- Provide support during external audits and tax inspections.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or final-year student) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Fluency in Polish and English.
- Up to 2 years of relevant experience in an accounting or finance role.
- Basic understanding of Polish accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Familiarity with IFRS is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Demonstrates strong organizational abilities and a hands-on, proactive attitude
