IT Operation Specialist – Business-Critical Applications
Location: Poland (Gdańsk preferred – hybrid model)

On-call rotation may be required
We are looking for an experienced IT Operation Specialist to join a critical banking project, supporting the stability and performance of business-critical applications. This is a hands-on operational role requiring a proactive mindset, analytical thinking, and collaboration across application, infrastructure, and development teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling incidents, service requests, and production inquiries,
- Investigating production issues and analyzing logs and system performance,
- Participating in deployment planning, rehearsal, execution, and post-verification,
- Driving service improvements and proposing automation solutions,
- Supporting new release planning and test validation,
- Maintaining end-to-end understanding of technical and business flows.
Requirements:
- Degree in IT or equivalent hands-on experience,
- Strong understanding of production systems, deployment, monitoring, and logging,
- Experience with incident, change, and problem management (ITIL preferred),
- Familiarity with WebLogic, SQL, Kubernetes, Kafka, IBM MQ, Linux (nice to have),
- Banking or payments industry background (nice to have).
