Job Title: IT Commercial & Digital - Marketing and Data Service Owner Location: Cracow, Poland
The Service Owner for Marketing & Data Platforms is a key leadership role within the IT Commercial & Digital team. This position is responsible for defining and managing the service vision, roadmap, and lifecycle for data/AI and marketing platforms supporting Commercial and Marketing stakeholders globally. The role ensures alignment between IT services and business objectives, driving strategic outcomes through scalable, secure, and high-performing data-driven platforms.
This role is critical to the successful implementation of the company's Omnichannel Strategy, enabling a seamless and personalized customer experience across all touchpoints. The Service Owner will provide end-to-end support for Marketing Campaigns, Customer Journeys, Social Media engagement, and other digital marketing initiatives, ensuring that platforms and data flows are fully integrated and optimized to deliver business value.
The Service Owner will oversee a multidisciplinary team including Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and technical partners, ensuring continuous evolution of the platforms and capabilities such as Salesforce (+Veeva), Power BI, Data Cloud, Datorama, Data Bricks, Snowflake, and integration middleware. As the Single Point of Contact for Business Process Owners (BPOs), the Service Owner plays a critical role in translating strategic goals into actionable and measurable IT outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Service Leadership
- Define and maintain the service vision, strategy, and roadmap for Marketing & Data Platforms.
- Ensure alignment of the service with commercial and marketing business goals and evolving needs.
- Lead the architecture and business analysis teams, fostering collaboration, ownership, and performance excellence.
Omnichannel Enablement & Marketing Support
- Act as the IT enabler of the Omnichannel Strategy, delivering integrated capabilities across campaigns, journeys, social platforms, and touchpoints.
- Support orchestration of marketing campaigns, automated journeys, and content personalization, ensuring technical feasibility and performance.
- Ensure data flow integrity and tracking capabilities across CRM, web, email, and social media channels to enable comprehensive analytics and optimization.
Platform Evolution & Innovation
- Oversee the design, delivery, and continuous enhancement of IT solutions supporting segmentation, campaign management, performance analytics, and omnichannel engagement.
- Promote the adoption of AI-driven technologies and predictive analytics to enhance business decision-making.
- Ensure integration and interoperability across Salesforce (Veeva), Power BI, Datorama, Data Cloud, DataBricks, and Snowflake.
Service Performance & Compliance
- Monitor and optimize service quality, availability, and performance, establishing SLAs and KPIs in coordination with stakeholders.
- Manage compliance with security, regulatory, and industry standards, including GDPR, HIPAA, and GxP.
- Oversee the resolution of service-related incidents and problems, coordinating across global IT and vendor teams.
Financial & Resource Management
- Own the service budget and financial planning, ensuring efficient resource allocation and value delivery.
- Evaluate sourcing strategies, vendor performance, and licensing models to optimize cost and service levels.
Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
- Act as the Single Point of Contact for BPOs and business leaders for strategic decisions, escalations, and roadmap prioritization.
- Collaborate with Commercial IT leaders, Compliance, and Digital Marketing to align initiatives and maximize business impact.
- Coordinate and chair governance boards, steering committees, and stakeholder reviews.
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Ensure comprehensive and updated service documentation, architecture roadmaps, and process frameworks.
- Lead initiatives to evangelize data best practices, AI adoption, and business intelligence capabilities across the organization.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in IT Service Management, Data Platforms, or Digital Marketing Technology in a global matrix organization.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, analytics, omnichannel marketing, and AI/ML platforms within Commercial and Marketing domains.
- Solid experience with Salesforce (Veeva), Power BI, Datorama, Data Cloud, DataBricks, Snowflake, and integration tools (Boomi, MuleSoft, Kafka).
- Proven ability to drive platform innovation, aligning IT capabilities with business objectives.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams including architects, analysts, and external vendors.
- Demonstrated ability to engage senior stakeholders, manage expectations, and translate business needs into actionable plans.
- Skilled in budget management, vendor governance, and service financials.
- Strategic mindset with a focus on value delivery and continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable in a fast-paced global environment.
- Fluent in English (mandatory); additional languages are a plus.
