As an Inbound Supervisor you will be responsible for the daily operational supervision and development of the inbound team. You will oversee and coordinate all inbound logistics operations ensuring timely and accurate receiving, inspection, and system booking of goods. You will lead a team of warehouse operators and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures. You are expected to drive continuous improvement in inbound efficiency, accuracy, and process execution.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Manage and supervise daily inbound operations including receipt, inspection, documentation, and system updates of incoming goods.
- Ensure high levels of inventory accuracy and adherence to inbound KPIs (e.g., dock-to-stock cycle time, ASN compliance).
- Coordinate with inbound planner, customs, and inventory teams to ensure seamless goods flow.
- Identify, report, and resolve any discrepancies or damage in received goods in collaboration with quality and suppliers.
- Prepare shift reports and contribute to operational planning and resource allocation.
- Use WMS (Warehouse Management System) tools to monitor workload, productivity, and exceptions.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or equivalent (preferred). However, experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- Experience in inbound or warehouse operations, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in using Warehouse Management Systems.
- Experience with working with Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Familiarity with lean warehousing, KPI monitoring, and 5S practices.
- UDT license (preferred, not required).
