The Role?
As our Frontend Engineer, you will lead the development of our JavaScript SDK used across some of the most popular Nordic marketplace brands. Your work will directly support hundreds of thousands of users.
Tech Stack?
TypeScript, JavaScript, Shell Scripting, AWS (e.g., S3). Familiarity with Kotlin and Python (used in backend systems) is a plus.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead the JavaScript SDK project that tracks user behavior across Vend applications.
- Make key technical and architectural decisions.
- Own the deployment process for your products.
- Design intuitive frontend utilities that enhance developer experience.
- Gather and respond to feedback from SDK users to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers for feature alignment and system integration.
ABOUT YOU
Must-haves:
- Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript with a functional programming approach.
- Experience in frontend development and comfortable leading in this space.
- Solid understanding of Shell scripting and deployment workflows.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., S3).
- 3+ years of experience in frontend technologies.
Nice-to-haves:
- Familiarity with backend technologies, particularly Python and Kotlin.
- Experience building SDKs or developer-facing tools.
WORKING AT VEND
This is a hybrid position, with 2–3 days per week at our Gdańsk office.
