Job Purpose
We are looking for a proactive and analytical Financial Analyst to join our Controlling Department at SSC Bielsko-Biała. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in controlling and a passion for continuous improvement. As member of our finance team, you will be responsible for controlling and financial reporting activities for 2 legal entities in Nordic region – Finland and Norway, reporting to UK & Nordics Financial Controller. These activities include month-end closing under US GAAP, forecasting and budgeting, as well as assisting in annual audit & ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and SOX.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and review the company’s monthly Actual group management accounts under US GAAP
- Lead the preparation process for the company’s annual budget and quarterly forecasts
- Providing input to external consultants preparing financial statements
- Ensure comprehensive audit documentation and involvement in cooperation with auditors to enable timely submission of financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of tax computations and returns, VAT
- Supervise the internal control processes within the finance function
- Supervise and set credit limits for customers, including D&B checks and the interface with Group credit controllers & manage the process of monitoring and collecting receivables
Qualifications & Skills
- University Degree in Finance and Accounting
- 3 years of experience in Finance/Controlling
- SAP knowledge (FI/CO)
- Previous exposure to statutory financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Fluent in English
- US GAAP & SOX knowledge is an asset
