About the Team
Join our global team responsible for enhancing and optimizing finance processes, such as source to pay, order to cash, and record to report. Collaborating with finance professionals, process owners, and technology leads, our team covers strategic finance optimization, process design, and technology enablement.
The Finance Optimization Consultant will play a pivotal role in supporting optimization within the Firm, working on financial operations to drive process improvements, optimize efficiency and implement leading technologies. You will be reporting to Finance Optimization Manager.
You will be responsible for:
Taking active part in developing and executing finance optimization strategies, contributing to project planning and roadmap creation to ensure clear timelines, milestones and resource allocation.
Analyzing current finance processes by mapping ‘as-is’ workflows, identifying areas for improvement and benchmarking against industry standards to drive efficiency.
Supporting the selection and implementation of new finance technologies, including gathering functional and technical requirements, coordinating user acceptance testing, and collecting feedback to ensure solutions meet operational needs.
Working closely with finance teams and other stakeholders to collect business requirements, organizing workshops and ensure alignment between optimization initiatives and Firm strategy.
Conducting data analysis and financial modelling to generate actionable insights, identify trends or cost drivers, and support business cases for proposed optimization projects.
Monitoring the progress of optimization projects by maintaining dashboards and status reports, tracking key performance indicators, and ensuring outcomes are consistent with business objectives.
Developing comprehensive documentation and training materials—such as Standard Operating Procedures, user guides and engaging learning content—to facilitate the adoption of new processes and systems.
Delivering training sessions, workshops and support to finance team members to build capability with new tools and processes, acting as a primary point of contact for questions or escalations during rollouts.
Identifying and assessing risks related to optimization initiatives and work proactively with stakeholders to develop and monitor risk mitigation plans.
Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies, sharing insights and recommendations with the wider finance operations team.
Apply if you:
Have 3 to 5 years’ experience in finance process optimization (PtP, OtC, RtR) and ERP change delivery, ideally in a multinational setting,
Bring hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation and finance process optimization,
Demonstrate experience taking a key role in delivering finance optimisation projects, driving process redesign or supporting the implementation of new systems. Actively seeking out best practices and new solutions,
Possess a thorough understanding of financial accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls, with sound knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS),
Are highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, using these tools for analysis and presentation,
Hold a degree in Finance, Business or Information Systems,
Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and can manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously,
Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across teams and with stakeholders at all levels in global environment.
Location
Warsaw - hybrid model (two days per week at the office), it may require additional presence as per business needs
