Join our Compliance department in Poland as an Export Control Specialist (f/m/d) with a strong focus on all Compliance agendas!
Siemens Legal & Compliance acts as a trusted partner, advising our businesses on all legal and compliance matters to support business goals and implement relevant strategies.
In this crucial role, you will ensure our organization's adherence to applicable laws and policies. You will collaborate closely with various departments to develop and enforce compliance programs, conduct risk assessments, and provide expert guidance on compliance and export control issues.
You’ll create impact by:
- Carrying out Export Control operational duties based on defined strategy, policies, processes, and procedures, ensuring compliance, preparing approvals, and performing all relevant Export Control tasks, including monitoring through IT-supported test routines and random checks.
- Supporting and contributing to all compliance agendas at lead country and country level, with a strong focus on anti-corruption, antitrust, ethics, anti-money laundering, and data privacy, including various projects.
- Checking data and coordinating activities with internal and external partners.
- Creating compliance awareness materials, communications, and conducting training activities. Contributing to robust and effective compliance controls within the organization.
Your success is grounded in:
- University degree (Law, Economics, International Relations, or similar).
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in Export Control or Compliance.
- Fluent English and Polish (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and coordination skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in interdisciplinary teams. Experience in supply chain compliance, sales/purchase processes, and familiarity with digital solutions/AI will be an additional asset.
