Coordinate the development and maintenance of an effective Environmental, Health & Safety Management System for the company, which align with applicable local legislative regulations and requirements. Serve as an EHS advisor to management, a coordinator to the line organization and secretary to the EHS Committee
POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide technical guidance & consultation on development and implementation of EHS standards, programs and management systems.
Assist the line organization build good EHS awareness, attitude and value throughout the workforce.
Developing, maintaining and promoting EHS policies, standards, procedures and rules to prevent loss.
Conduct system EHS assessment (inspections/audits), report accordingly to the line organization.
Advise on compliance and implementation of relevant EHS legislative regulations & requirements, and Company EHS policies, standards and initiatives.
Support management, in the conduct and maintenance of EHS hazard & risk assessment, to identify existing EHS hazards and risks, and work with the management to put in place the required controls.
Define EHS training needs and co-ordinate the implementation of needed training
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Have sincere interest in EHS, in the protection of people & environment and loss prevention.
2-4 years work experience in the manufacturing environment.
Strongly able to self manage with good initiative, able to plan & organize, resolve problems, handle pressure and have good working attitude .
Strong interpersonal skill, ability to communicate and interact effectively with team members and people.
Fluent Polish & English (both spoken & written).
Computer skills: MS Excel, Power Point
