Avantor is seeking an EHS Specialist (f/m/d) to join our team in Gliwice! In this role, you will support our production, distribution, warehouse, and office operations.

What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety/EHS, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
- Several years of experience in a multinational, matrixed environment.
- Fluent in Polish and English.
- Background in manufacturing, production, distribution, or chemical industry.
- Solid knowledge of Polish & EU health and safety legislation
- Preferred: understanding of environmental regulations, process safety, ATEX, and fire safety knowledge
How you will thrive and create an impact
- Act as an EHS expert for our Gliwice site with a strong focus on health & safety topics.
- Implement global EHS policies and drive local improvements.
- Support Seveso III compliance and onboarding processes.
- Lead site-wide EHS training and emergency response planning.
- Conduct risk assessments and EHS audits (ISO 9001, Seveso).
- Investigate incidents using root cause analysis.
- Maintain EHS documentation and promote a strong safety culture.
- Collaborate with leadership to align EHS strategy with company goals.
