The Director Business Systems position is based at our office in Warsaw (Poland), with flexibility for remote work from anywhere in Poland.
Your position in our team
- Lead the strategic planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of core business systems across the organization.
- Manage a team of business systems analysts, administrators, and integration specialists; provide mentorship, guidance, and performance management.
- Serve as the key liaison between IT, Finance, Sales, Marketing, HR, Product, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure business systems support strategic objectives.
- Oversee large-scale system implementations and transformation projects (e.g. CRM rollouts), applying both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Collaborate closely with business leaders to understand operational pain points and identify opportunities for system and process optimization.
- Maintain accountability for vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance management, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and SLAs.
- Champion change management practices to promote user adoption and minimize disruption during system transitions.
- Track and manage departmental budgets, including forecasting and controlling software and system expenses.
- Ensure compliance and operational continuity in payment processing and subscription management through appropriate systems integrations.
- Regularly evaluate new tools, technologies, and industry trends to recommend strategic improvements and drive innovation.
Your profile
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in business systems, enterprise applications, or IT roles, including a proven track record of leading teams and driving major system initiatives.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience in payments and software industry, with a solid understanding of subscription models, payment platforms, and SaaS business environments.
- Proven expertise across core enterprise systems, including hands-on experience with leading ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle Fusion) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Experience with iPaaS solutions (e.g., Workato, MuleSoft, Celigo) and business intelligence tools, supporting scalable, data-driven operations and system connectivity.
- Proven success in managing and delivering complex systems projects, with a strong commitment to structured change management for effective adoption and minimal disruption.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build high-performing teams and convey complex ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic and analytical thinker with deep expertise in business process optimization, data-driven decision-making, and stakeholder/vendor management.
- Results-driven and customer-focused, with a strong commitment to delivering measurable business impact through collaboration and user-centric solutions.
- Adaptable and innovative, thriving in fast-paced environments while staying ahead of emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Fluency in English is essential, proficiency in Polish would be highly advantageous for collaboration with local teams.
