CX Specialist - Tax & Customs Settlements
Job Description
This role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure smooth offer
management, follow-up, and resolution of any issues that may arise.
Tax & Customer Settlements Specialist is responsible for making sure that customers data are correct in systems, and supporting customer relationship activities in line with quality management and compliance principles. The position also includes responsibility for optimizing customer satisfaction through effective digitalization.
Main Responsibilities
- implementation of rail, road and sea transport services for long products
- customs clearance of long products
- settlement of accounting notes for damaged wagons
- correct values confirmed for payment, including partial cancellations or adjustments due to price changes or carrier updates
- confirmation of service performance in the SAP system and generation of proof of acceptance (PZ) for orders created for the costs listed in points 1-2. ·
- clarification of price differences and invoice discrepancies with transport units
- correction of values confirmed for payment: partial cancellation or cancellation of costs in orders due to price changes, carriers, etc.
- maintaining records of settled invoices and reporting the amount of costs incurred by individual AMP LONG departments.
- requesting the Financial Director to accept the validity of invoices issued by suppliers without "FI" type orders - confirming costs in the SAP system
- monthly entry into the SAP system and sending to AM BCoE of accounting amounts based on data obtained from Forwarders
- completing and archiving railway lists
- · reporting to the Customs and Tax Settlements Manager
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, international trade, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar position within the logistics or transportation industry.
- Experience in customer service, order management, or freight forwarding operations.

Technical Competencies:
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); additional foreign language is an asset.
- Solid knowledge of transport and freight forwarding processes
- Strong IT skills and experience with transport documentation systems (knowing SAP, RAILSoft, DHL – system will be an asset)
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written; other foreign language will be the additional asset
