About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounting reconciliations and VAT processes, particularly in Poland (and other country sites as needed), and will contribute to the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting.
About Your Responsibilities
- Manage the VAT declaration process in Poland, including preparation, submission, and handling of correction requests.
- Perform and review complex accounting reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Manage the VAT declaration process in Poland (and other country sites as needed), including preparation, submission, and handling of correction requests.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
- Preparation of SAF T file upon request of tax office.
- Transfer Pricing and WHT reporting.
- Utilize SAP for transaction processing and reporting.
- Leverage Excel (intermediate to advanced level) for data analysis and reporting.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field (required).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proven experience with accounting reconciliations (mandatory).
- In-depth knowledge of Polish VAT regulations and experience filing VAT declarations and corrections (mandatory).
- Familiarity with PL GAAP and US GAAP (nice-to-have).
- Experience with SAP (preferred).
- Fluent in English (mandatory).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced level).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team and excellent communication and organizational skills.
