Wabtec is looking for an analytical, collaborative, creative and knowledgeable Compensation Analyst Intern to join our team, and support primarily the EMEA region. This internship aims at providing compensation analytics and exceptional service to Wabtec’s HR team and employees. The EMEA Compensation Analyst Intern will be a significant contributor to Wabtec’s global Compensation Team, reporting into the C&B EMEA and APAC Director.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and monitor the Global pay reporting and Pay Equity systems so that all Wabtec European sites can ensure full compliance with the EU Directive on Pay transparency.
- Support the implementation of specific processes as per required by the Pay Transparency EU Directive. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition in the job positionning, and subsequent disclosure of salary ranges to candidates, Partner with local Payroll to ensure Pay reporting is delivered on time to labor administrations, and partner with local HR in the disclosure of pay statistics to employee representatives.
- Provide anlaytic reviews to the Wabtec Human Resources team on compensation related question.
- Participate in salary surveys and provide market analysis to the HR community
- Maintain Wabtec’s job architecture framework and ensure it is aligned with business objectives and industry best practices. Maintain correlation with local job structures (as per defined by Local regulation and/or Industry CBAs in Europe). Partner with HRIS to ensure Job structures are accurately maintained in Workday. Lead the job calibration across different job family groups where required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Accounting, or other business-related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job
- Experience/Exposure to Human Resources, Compensation analytics, will be a plus.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Strong analytical skills
- Fluency in English, other languages a plus

- Project management experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication/language skills required to include the ability to provide written and verbal instructions, compile, and present business reports/correspondence, and present information clearly
- Capable of planning and organizing work and processes across mutliple geographies; ability to self-direct projects and meet deadlines.
