Our client, a leading global financial services organisation, is seeking a skilled Lead Business Analyst to join their Strategic Cost Management team in Krakow, Poland.
Position Overview
The Lead Business Analyst will play a crucial role in enhancing the Cost Modelling Tool, automating processes, and collaborating with key stakeholders to deliver robust solutions that support the organisation's recovery and restructuring capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Define and enhance functional requirements for the Cost Modelling Tool
- Automate end-to-end processes to improve efficiency
- Liaise with Finance and business stakeholders to gather requirements
- Collaborate with IT and Finance GFA teams to build and test solutions
- Define the Target Operating Model and establish SOPs and controls
- Coordinate testing efforts to ensure solution quality
- Ensure compliance with Group Standards and manage regulatory demands
Requirements
- Significant experience in cost modelling, forecasting, and producing management MI
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, TM1, data visualisation tools, and Qlik reporting
- Hands-on experience with financial modelling within HSBC Finance and ServCo processes
- Strong data analysis skills and an analytical, detail-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication, planning, and organisation skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work with senior stakeholders
- Strong understanding of financial statements, Finance processes, and systems
