Your opportunity
Are you an experienced Accounts Receivable & Collections professional who thrives on independence, process improvement, and driving results? We’re looking for an Accounts Receivable & Collections Manager to take ownership of our global accounts receivable process and help us improve cash flow, reduce overdue balances, and provide meaningful insights to the business.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll report to the Director of Revenue & Order-to-Cash and work closely with Finance, Sales, and Customer Success teams to scale and optimize our Accounts Receivable & collections operations. You will also play a key role in shaping the future of the function, leading a small in-house team.
What You’ll Do
- Own and manage the full AR & collections cycle - from outreach to resolution - ensuring timely payment from customers
- Lead process improvements to streamline AR & collections, improve reconciliations, reduce DSO and enhance customer communication
- Perform monthly AR variance analysis and prepare quarterly bad debt reserve calculations
- Analyze aging trends and identify root causes of payment delays
- Develop and maintain clear, scalable policies and procedures for your area of responsibility
- Support the sales process by proactively engaging Sales on at-risk accounts and unpaid invoices to ensure informed decisions and a smooth customer experience
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to resolve billing and contract issues that impact payment
- Report on key AR metrics and present actionable insights to senior leadership
- Lead a small in-house Collections Team
- Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in collections, AR - preferably in a SaaS or B2B environment
- A proven track record of reducing overdue balances and resolving complex collection scenarios
- Experience in team management
- Strong analytical skills and reporting experience
- Independent, proactive, and highly organized - you don’t wait to be told what to do
- Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, or similar ERP/CRM systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Process-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
