DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for overall testing strategies and methodologies for Client and Industry solutions and provides oversight into technical quality delivery of large, complex, or high risk solutions.
- Provide continuity at strategic planning levels to address business requirements and provide tangible results.
- Works with The Consultant to provide guidance in setting direction and strategy for The Acxiom Testing Practice(s)
- Provide Acxiom Principals with testing progress reports and other information required for managing the day-to-day activities as well as the dependencies of the project.
- Lead testing efforts on very large customer implementations and work across multiple Delivery Executives
- Consult with Customers, Account teams and Acxiom Methodology teams and Project Managers on testing best practices, process improvements, and testing strategies.
- Provide oversight to the project testing team on any given project deemed appropriate by The Consultant on all phases within the lifecycle of a project or production client.
- Works with The Consultant to define testing strategies, test phases and execution ensuring that the methodology is applied appropriately.
- Participate in requirement meetings and design meetings from a testing perspective and presents the strategy for testing as applicable.
- Provide direction to the Account team during the transition phase and as agreed upon as part of UAT and may serve as a subject matter expert as needed during UAT.
- Have the ability to manage conflict without major disruption to work flow.
- Have the ability to write and execute complex SQL joins and aggregations

QUALIFICATIONS

- Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 4 years experience; or equivalent work experience
- CSTE Certification
- Ensure the test data and environment is defined and ready for testing.
- Drives the risk weight process for test planning.
- Per phase of testing, ensures traceability of requirements and design.
- Defines test plans, deliverables and criteria for acceptance; obtain approval of entry/exit criteria to be used from The Consultant.
- Creates testing reports, monitors progress during each test to ensure that the solution is validated and on time and that it meets or exceeds expectations.
- Manages the defect process, including escalation.
- Acts as the primary point of contact for project managers and project testing team.
- Works with the client delivery/project team to ensure delivery of test activities.
- Coordinates the development, updating, and maintenance of test cases
- Assists The Consultant or Project Manager with managing and directing the daily work of the project testing team when necessary.
- Assists The Consultant or Project Manager with directing the work planning as required by change requests submitted to the client delivery / project team that have been approved for execution.
- Assists The Consultant or Project Manager with managing the work of the project testing team during test preparation and execution activities.
- Ensures that testing is on time and communicate to The Consultant or Project Manager when the timeline is impacted.
- Ensures that the DCO methodology is adhered to and reports compliance issues to The Consultant.
- Develops options and recommendations to assist test team members in resolving issues.
- Completes required training.
