Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with two or more of the following: Web Tech, Data/Big Data, Systems Admin, Machine Learning, Networking, Kubernetes, Oracle, SAP.
- 2 years of experience with coding or with system design, troubleshooting and managing technical issues.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in Computer Networking (e.g., Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), Routing, Load balancing, etc.).
- Experience with debugging workload issues across multi-node environments.
- Experience with exploratory kernel debugging and performance analysis of containerized systems.
- Experience in working with cloud (e.g., Google Cloud Platform) services and infrastructure.
- Knowledge of web technologies (e.g., HTTP, HTML, Domain Name System (DNS), TCP, etc.).

Responsibilities
- Develop a understanding of Google Cloud's product technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, and determining the cause for customer reported issues, building tools, and diagnosis.
- Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in engineering, business, and customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles and improve Google Cloud.
- Work in a team of engineers or consultants that ensure customer support. Work non-standard work hours/shifts which may include weekend work.
- Understand customer issues, advocate for their needs with internal teams, including product and engineering teams to find ways to improve the product and drive production.
- Work with customers on production deployments to resolve issues and achieve product readiness and availability.
