Position Summary
Parker Hannifin EMEA Sarl (PHEMEA), based in Etoy, Switzerland, is the Principal Operating Company for Parker in the EMEA region. It is supported by a network of Parker Manufacturing Divisions and Sales Company Entities. The Fluid Connectors Group Europe is a strategic business Group within PHEMEA. High Pressure Connectors Europe is a key service provider to the Fluid Connectors Group Europe.
The High Pressure Connectors Division EMEA is one of the largest businesses in Parker. Besides the classic DIN (Ermeto) and SAE fittings, quick couplings, multi coupler, flanges, valves, tubes, SensoControl measuring devices, tube forming and pre-assembly machines are part of the HPCE product range and are manufactured in several locations.
The Supply Chain Specialist is located at Siechnice Plant and directly reports to Planning Team Leader.
Job Responsibilities:
Conducting analyses, comparisons and summaries necessary for the correct formulation of production plans. Formulation of production plans of the enterprise.
Control of planning processes and production control in the area of production and assembly. Optimization of material flow, machine planning (EPEI) and planning processes.
Analysis of the service KPI’s, setting and communicating priorities and making proposals for improvement.
Define ABCXYZ policy for Business Unit and deployment of e-Plan-For-Every-Part
Monitoring, updating, optimization of inventory levels according to established warehouse management rules. Analysis of warehouse levels.
Assist Parker Operating Protocol (POP) process (simplification of article portfolio).
Introducing new components to the factory. Price simulations. Preparation of Make vs Buy proposals
Responsible for static data and set up of articles.
Participation in the improvement and optimization of production planning and control processes. Eliminating waste and actively supporting rationalization and inventiveness. Implementation of Lean Manufacturing tools in their area of responsibility.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or administration
3 years previous experience in Supply Chain
Analytical thinking, planning and development skills
Well organized, independent and goal-oriented
Advanced knowledge of MS Office especially Excel (VBA, Makro’s, Power Qry), Access
Knowledge of MRP/ERP class systems (JDEdwards a plus)
Fluent in Polish and English language (German would be an asset)
Communication skills, ability to work in a team, stress resistance
Assertiveness, creativity, openness
Ability to adapt to dynamic environment
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing systems
