Your future team:
You will become part of Group Supply Chain. The department currently consists of 19 people each with their own field of expertise.
As Group Supply Chain we are focused on keeping the bird’s eye view on the supply chain operations across all the local supply chain departments within ROCKWOOL. This means that we draw up the strategic foundation and deploy best practices that the individual departments operate from. We are proud to be world leaders in our industry, and we work hard to stay in this position
What you will be doing:
In the course of the next few years, we are implementing a number of new tools such as a new global warehouse management system, a new global S&OP tool, as well as running other large enabling supply chain projects. Your role will be to manage the projects from a business perspective and ensure coordination between the different sub-projects. Doing so, you will collaborate closely with a broad range of colleagues from our production sites across the Globe. Therefore, you can expect to travel 30-50 days a year, e.g. when visiting offices or factories.
What you bring:
You have solid experience running large-scale business driven IT projects, preferably from a manufacturing company. In this role, you will manage project execution, ensure alignment between business and technical teams, and drive organizational change across international teams from many different cultures.
This position requires a lot of knowledge and the right skillset. Therefore, it is:
- Necessary that you have 3+ years of experience managing larger projects in international companies, preferably business driven IT projects – also driving the Organisational Changes
- Crucial that you are experienced within project management, preferably with a Prince2 or IPMA B certification
- Important that you have a master’s degree
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
- A plus if you have a background working as a consultant and/or worked within Supply Chain
- An advantage if you have experience with SAP implementations
