Summary:
EMEA Senior A2R Analyst - AL/Expenses is responsible for preparing and recording manual journal entries tied to Indirect Purchases across the globe. This position is be part of the Account to Report, Accrued Liabilities team within the Baxter Global Business Solutions. The role requires an understanding of complex accounting matters, quick problem-solving skills and strong collaboration with other finance and non-finance teams.
What will you be doing?
Being in charge of general ledger and subledger closing, you will be preparing manual journals for various expense accruals with adequate supporting documentation.
Performing trial balance reviews and balance sheet reconciliations.
Maintaining and controlling the finance ERP automatic processes to support accounting and reporting.
Supporting monthly/quarterly/annual close processes and work closely with Regional Controllership teams.
Responding to queries from local country finance in a timely manner.
Supporting regional and global reporting requirements such as monthly Balance Sheet & P&L Flux analysis.
Ensuring adherence of processes to company's policies and procedures, internal and external audit requirements and local rules and regulations; support strengthening of financial processes and controls.
Providing audit support as needed.
Who are we looking for?
Finance professional with minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
Strong analyst with experience of operational responsibility in finance/accounting or audit multinational environment.
Excellent customer interpersonal skills with proficiency in speaking and writing in English.
Experience in process improvement initiatives and good knowledge of US GAAP will be advantage.
Strong reporting tools including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
A "Bachelor" in Finance/Accounting or equivalent experience will be taken into account (ACCA/CIMA/CPA would be advantageous).
Experience in JDE, Blackline, Alteryx and W-Desk is an advantage.
