Service Sales Manager - front end salesMarine & Ports is driving the transition towards a sustainable future. In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive the LNG & Tanker segment service sales strategy, generate sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the allocated customer base. You will especially focus on promoting and selling the entire Service product portfolio to ABB Marine & Ports customer in the LNG & Tankers segment. You will also showcase your expertise by coaching the segment sales team ensuring that the segment sales strategy is implemented, building long-term customer relationships and ensuring that customers' needs are always on focus.
This role is contributing to the ABB Marine & Ports division, Service & Digital BL in Norway. You will also collaborate closely with other marine units globally to enhance service productivity and technical expertise.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Contribute and lead the definition and implementation of sales strategy for the segment together with rest of the Segment sales team, product & solution managers and operation for the allocated accounts across all offerings.
- Manage Key account customers in the segment, build long term customer relation and keeps knowledge of the customer organization and key stakeholders
- Responsible for bid and negotiation of Digital services, recommended maintenance, training and service agreements.
- Identify sales opportunities to expand ABB’s value to the customer and provide feedback to Operation and sales team accordingly in order to keep developing the segment strategy
- Acts as a marketer/salesperson of ABB’s service products and solutions during marketing activities (campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings).
- Interested in ABB technologies, passionate of ABB mission and strategy and you truly care about your customers’ success.
- Technical studies (Degree in Engineering, Bachelor’s or Technical College)
- Proven experience in sales or operational service environments (minimum 5 years)
- Solid understanding of marine systems

- Strong ability to drive change and influence others
- Collaborative, solution-oriented, and proactive mindset, you enjoy working both in a team as well as perform your tasks independently.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English
