We are seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Senior Salesforce DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive the optimization of Salesforce development operations.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in setting up and maintaining our Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE), ensuring that our workflows, tools, and processes are streamlined, efficient, and scalable.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines tailored to Salesforce environments, leveraging tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab, or Jenkins
- Develop and refine the Salesforce CoE Operating Model Playbook, encompassing best practices and strategic guidelines
- Establish and maintain CoE processes, creating and updating documentation to ensure a consistent knowledge base
- Build shared components for Salesforce that can be utilized across multiple teams and projects within the organization
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to align on deployment strategies and resolve build/release issues
- Ensure governance policies and quality standards are integrated into deployment workflows
- Implement tools and frameworks to enhance version control and release management cycles
- Stay proactive in identifying process inefficiencies within the Salesforce CoE and deliver actionable solutions
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience in Salesforce development, release management, DevOps, or software development
- Expertise in implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, GitLab, or Jenkins
- Solid understanding of tools and best practices for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
- Knowledge of Salesforce development lifecycle models, including change set management and metadata deployment tools
- Proficiency in technical writing and documentation, ensuring high-quality knowledge-sharing materials
