What You Will Do
- Credit Analysis: Gather financial statements, external credit reports, and other relevant data to assess customer creditworthiness.
- Risk Assessment: Evaluate credit risk, recommend credit limits, and support decisions on order releases.
- Order Management: Oversee order release processes and collaborate with stakeholders to avoid potential credit blocks.
- Credit Limit Monitoring: Perform regular credit reviews and manage ad hoc assessments when limits are exceeded.
- Documentation: Maintain and update internal credit process documentation as required.
- Reporting: Proactively communicate customer credit situations and reduce blocked orders to support supply chain flow.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and support opportunities for process improvements within the Order-to-Cash (O2C) function.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work effectively across departments to align on credit decisions and ensure consistency in credit policy execution.
What You Need
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Credit or Invoice-to-Cash (I2C) roles.
- Credit Analysis: Proven ability to analyze company financial statements and prepare credit recommendations.
- Language Skills: Fluent spoken and written English; German is a plus but not mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Systems Knowledge: Experience working with Credit-related systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Credit Management tools. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel).
- Agency Experience: Prior exposure to working with Credit Rating Agencies.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent time management, and demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
