Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in safeguarding personal data? As a Privacy Risk Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of delivering essential services to the Global Data Privacy Office on behalf of Global Business Services. This dynamic position involves managing personal data incidents, breaches, and data subject requests, while also supporting privacy solutions like cookies consent management technology. You'll be part of a global team that drives

AstraZeneca's Data Privacy Strategy and Framework, ensuring a compliant and ethical approach to personal data processing. Embrace the challenge of working in an international environment, navigating the complexities of digitalisation and evolving regulations.

Accountabilities

  • Initial triage & review of all personal data incidents
  • Escalation of high priority/sensitive incidents to management
  • End to end management of low & medium risk personal data breaches in line with defined incident management process
  • Provision of support to Data Privacy leadership in managing high risk personal data incidents where required
  • Triage and management of Data Subject Requests globally
  • Supports the Privacy Office Administrator as required

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Understanding of the GDPR and other key Data Protection regulations
  • Diligent with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong critical & logical thinking skills
  • Ability to work in a global team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with key stakeholders across cultures
  • Strong organizational skills

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • IAPP certification
