What the day will look like
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on identifying and managing cyber risks, with a focus on assessing, quantifying and prioritizing risks in relation to business impact, risk appetite, and control maturity.
- Assist in delivering projects including Financial Impact Modelling, Response Readiness and Risk Assessment.
- Assist with business development activities, including sales pipeline analysis, proposal writing, and client presentations.
- Internal innovation, contributing to the improvement and or development of solutions and professional practice of the team.
- Train other team members through sharing of insight and knowledge.
- Nurture strong client relationships through proactive and insightful consulting.
- Understand and anticipate client needs based on a strong understanding of industry/sector risks and regulatory requirements.
Skills and Experience that will Lead to Success:
- Broad understanding of cybersecurity and its impact on business operations, including risk quantification and risk transfer mechanisms.
- Familiarity with core cyber topics and frameworks such as NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001, and CIS Critical Security Controls.
- Strong analytic, project management and social skills, including experience of multi-project engagements and client relationship building.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to translate complex risk and technical concepts for a business audience.
- Ability to understand and anticipate client needs based on a strong understanding of industry and sector-specific risk drivers.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA, CISSP, IRM, ACII, or equivalent) are welcome but not essential.
