Job Description
As a Logistics Specialist, you will be a cornerstone of operational excellence, bringing advanced logistics expertise and an autonomous, proactive approach to the team. In this role, you will not only ensure the flawless recording and verification of shipments but also serve as a strategic problem-solver. Your role involves diving into complex logistical challenges, ensuring smooth operations even during peak periods. We’re seeking someone who thrives on taking initiative, brings creative solutions to the table, and seamlessly collaborates to elevate our logistics processes. Your ability to act swiftly and efficiently in a dynamic environment will be key to supporting multiple regions and ensuring the seamless flow of operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and ensure the verification of incoming goods against invoices and documents.
- Unloads, sorts, stacks, and packages merchandise and orders
- identifying discrepancies and managing any damaged items with authority
- Data entry ; reception of goods into our ERP System
- Develop and implement improved logistics procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and shorten delivery times
- Act as a key liaison with the purchasing department, providing support with orders during peak periods
- Ensure accuracy in all commercial documentation, facilitating billing and customs clearance seamlessly
- Manage complex logistics challenges, from tracking shipments to coordinating multi-location transfers
- Rapidly address and resolve customs-related delays, applying creative problem-solving to keep shipments on track
- Expertly select and advise on the most advantageous Incoterms for each shipment scenario, ensuring both compliance and efficiency
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Experience (3-5 years) in a logistics role, with a proven track record of process optimization
- Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced understanding of logistics regulations and Incoterms
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to support high peaks and engage with multiple departments
- Advanced problem-solving capabilities, multitasking, and a keen sense of urgency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools
- Fluent in Polish and English
