Junior AP Accountant

About the role:
As a Junior Accountant, you will assist the accounting team in all functional areas of accounting, including supporting local comptrollers in month-end close activities and entering supplier invoices. You will be required to respond to customer requests and provide a high level of customer service.

What are your responsibilities?

• Verification and posting of individual financial transactions
• Ensuring invoice compliance with tax/legal regulations and accounting standards
• Adherence to appropriate company policies and documented SOX procedures
• Developing and maintaining good relationships with suppliers and local business units
• Communicating with internal partners from various countries to obtain required information/approvals
• Resolving discrepancies through collaboration with business partners and suppliers
• Regular work with reports

Who we are looking for

• Secondary vocational or higher education (accounting, finance, economics) or other
• Knowledge of English (minimum B1 level)
• Ability to enter data and analyze financial documents
• Ability to work under time pressure
• Ability to adapt to changing deadlines and priorities resulting from business needs
• Accuracy in task execution and attention to detail
• Communication skills and ability to work in a team
