Job Description
PCIe validation and/or FPGA Engineering Intern
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and curious FPGA Engineering Intern to join our PCIe validation team. This can be a part-time, internship designed for students who want to gain hands-on experience with FPGA design, simulation, and testing, while contributing to real-world projects.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design, simulation, and implementation of FPGA solutions using VHDL
Support verification and debugging of FPGA designs
Work with senior engineers on hardware bring-up and lab testing
Document designs, test results, and project progress
Collaborate with the team to improve workflows and design practices
Qualifications
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
Basic knowledge of FPGA architecture and digital logic design
Familiarity with VHDL (or other HDL languages)
Understanding of simulation tools (e.g., ModelSim, Vivado Simulator)
Nice to Have
Basic experience with Python and C for automation, testing, or data analysis
Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
Exposure to Verilog or SystemVerilog
Experience with Xilinx or Intel FPGA toolchains
