Your tasks

  • The incident- & monitoring-agent is responsible to check predefined systems within a 24/7-working-model. In case of upcoming issues and events he solves them by himself or by handing them over to responsible teams/departments/partners depending on defined standards.

  • Continuous monitoring of business-critical processes & systems based on existing solutions (e.g.. checkMK, appDynamics)
  • Continuous monitoring of system-jobs (check & restart of business-critical jobs)
  • Event handling and documentation of alerts & upcoming issues in a feasible ticketing-system (e.g. ServiceNow)
  • Issue-solving by following standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Handover of upcoming problems to dedicated teams (internal & external communication) including issue- and monitoring-reporting
  • Basic escalation management in case of critical issues
  • For all of these tasks a dedicated training and onboarding will take place
  • 24/7-availability (working in shifts) in a hybrid-working-model

Requirements
  • 1year+ basic IT-support-experience
  • Communication skills and open minded
  • Basic knowledge in ticketing-systems (ServiceNow)
  • Basic knowledge regarding retail-business & -infrastructure would be preferable
  • Fluent English: minimum B2
  • Service-orientated mindset
