- Develop and implement global Co-man and EWH strategy, policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations, customer, and FSQR requirements.
- Foster collaboration across regional teams to integrate local priorities into Co-man and EWH programs, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Supply chain, Operations, Customer Innovation & Technical Services, and regional FSQR leadership—to ensure external supply partners meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
- Partner with regional quality and supply chain teams to drive collaboration with external supply partners, implement corrective and preventive actions, and ensure root cause analysis and sustainable solutions.
- Coordinate with the Food Safety Team for external supply partners lab performance and Lab audit protocols.
- Drive culture of escalation of critical information for proactive resolutions and best practices for continuous improvement and recognition.
- Facilitate Co-man and EWH training programs to align with BC quality expectations.
- Promote a culture of food safety excellence among external supply partners.
- Lead a global team of Co-man and EWH professionals, providing coaching and strategic direction.
- Cultivate a culture of engagement, empowerment, and accountability to build high performing teams and equipping teams with the necessary skills and resources to achieve excellence.
- Establish external supply partners performance, compliance, and monitoring protocols in alignment with global and regional stakeholders.
- Develop a comprehensive reporting mechanism to enhance visibility into external supply partners performance metrics.
- Streamline processes and enhance efficiency by distinguishing value-added tasks for the core team while strategically outsourcing generic work globally, leveraging the best mix of internal and external resources.
- Drive and support real-time data tracking and analysis to enable proactive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
- Leverage data analytics and visualization tools to provide actionable insights, supporting informed decision-making.
- Stay updated on emerging food safety trends, regulations, and technologies, providing strategic guidance on their implications.
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders to advocate for food safety initiatives and represent BC interests.
- Food Science / Food technologist / Food Engineering / Microbiology Major or related field
- Global / Regional experience in Food Safety and Quality within the food industry.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results, prioritize initiatives, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluent in English and well versed with IT operating systems.
- Travel requirements: Must be flexible to travel up to 50% of time, including trips that arise on short notice.
