We are seeking a dedicated Functional & EDI Consultant to join our team, an expert capable of bridging business needs and technical solutions within Procure-to-Order (P2O) processes in SAP SRM and CP environments.
This role is also responsible for implementing and maintaining the EDI infrastructure to optimize the procurement lifecycle and ensure seamless electronic data exchange.
Responsibilities
- Consult on functional requirements for P2O processes, especially supplier onboarding, purchase orders, scheduling agreements, and key transactions such as order changes and advanced shipping notifications
- Implement and configure EDI infrastructure to support effective communication between systems and suppliers
- Conduct basic setup tasks in TS Integration Manager, including hosting/port setup, workflow cancellations, and comments management
- Resolve errors and perform log analysis by troubleshooting issues in TS Integration Manager
- Use expertise in IDOCs, XML, flat files, and other data exchange formats to map, configure, and support EDI integration processes
- Apply knowledge of EDI standards like EDIFACT directories (D.99A, D.01B) to distinguish between classic-EDI and Web-EDI solutions
- Manage EDI configurations and mapping for key message types such as APRERAK, ORDERS, ORDRPS, ORDCHG, and DELFOR while understanding segment structures and data element concepts
- Translate and convert information between in-house formats like SAP IDOCs and EDI standards
- Support SupplyOn modules such as logistics setup, supplier collaboration, and supply chain collaboration through basic administration and configuration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of EDI systems with procurement operations and business objectives
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in functional consulting and EDI operations, with involvement in SAP SRM and CP processes
- Background in procurement processes, including supplier onboarding and document flows like purchase orders, changes, order responses, and scheduling agreements
- Skills in TS Integration Manager for hosting/port setup, workflow cancellations, and troubleshooting
- Expertise in data exchange formats like IDOCs, XML, flat files, and proficiency in EDI standards such as EDIFACT directories
- Familiarity with SupplyOn modules such as logistics setup, supplier collaboration, and various administration functions
- Knowhow of EDI configuration and mapping for message types like APRERAK and ORDERS, with understanding of segment structures and conversion to/from in-house formats like SAP IDOCs

- Understanding of advanced Web-EDI solutions and their integration in complex environments
- Knowledge of EDI monitoring tools to enhance system insights and efficiency
- Capability to optimize SupplyOn modules for strategic collaboration in procurement
