In this context, our Controlling team plays a pivotal role, acting as a crucial business partner to the Technology division. We provide robust financial expertise throughout the innovation lifecycle, from evaluating new ideas and challenging business cases to guiding the selection of promising initiatives and conducting post-implementation reviews.
This role will be instrumental in driving our AI transformation, supporting strategic decision-making for optimal outcomes, and contributing directly to our Future Vision of Tech.
Your main responsibilities:
- Specialize in analysis oriented on the impact on productivity, including quantifying benefits and meticulously tracking key performance indicators (e.g., NPV, payback time, savings). Furthermore, assess potential financial risks linked to new AI technologies
- Review and assess the financial performance of AI projects, identifying areas for improvement and capturing learnings for future initiatives
- Lead comprehensive cost estimation for technology, software, and AI deployments, ensuring accuracy and strategic alignment
- Translate complex technological outcomes and advancements into clear, understandable financial impacts for various stakeholders
- Proactively monitor project progress, identify variances from plan, and actively pursue optimization opportunities to enhance financial efficiency
- Collaborate closely with technology management - including the Technology Executive Team, Executive Team members, Business Units Finance Managers, and the Technology Delivery Office on defining project scope and resource needs
This is the right job for you if:
- You have experience in project and performance evaluation, coupled with a solid financial background, ideally gained within a technology portfolio
- You have a higher education in Economics or Finance
- You possess a strong ability to learn new concepts quickly, especially those outside the traditional finance field, demonstrating an understanding of Tech topics
- You thrive on flexibility and can seamlessly jump from one topic to another, demonstrating strong stress resilience
- You excel at effectively translating complex business problems into clear, actionable, data-driven conclusions
- You are adept at managing ambiguity and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment
- You demonstrate strong adaptability to change and flexibility, are a creative thinker who drives Innovation, excel at cooperation and communication, and are capable of driving performance in dynamic environments
- You are Data-Driven in your approach, utilizing strong analytical skills for capacity planning and forecasting, and possess robust business acumen and negotiation skills
- You communicate effectively in English (C1)
- Familiarity with tools such as Google workspace, Tableau or Data Studio will be highly beneficial
