Boeing Poland sp. z o.o. EFSThe Boeing Company is looking for an Electrical System Service Engineer with experienced knowledge of Boeing Electrical system design and engineering principles to join our Service Engineering team in Rzeszow.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including: Associate, Experienced and Senior Electrical System Service Engineers.
As part of your role, you will support service requests, customer solutions for all in-service Boeing Electrical Systems. You will work directly with airline customers, Maintenance Repair Overhaul providers, and Suppliers to address and resolve any issues related to the in-service airplane system, related to Electrical Systems. You will act as a liaison and coordinate with various engineering and technical disciplines to address customer concerns.
This position requires flexibility to support emergent airline issues, requirements, and meetings. Occasionally, you may be required to work off-shift schedules to support the 24/7/365 fleet operation.
Position Responsibilities:
Assessing and resolving product/process issues through the product life cycle.
Research on technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by the customer.
Providing interim and final engineering solutions to return airplanes to revenue service.
Working with cross-functional teams to conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for complex design non-conformances.
Assesses system events reports to determine potential safety issues.
Develops customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite in the office in Rzeszow.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years engineering experience with aircraft Electrical systems. Experience in Electrical wiring, Electrical Power, Electrical Equipment subcomponents around wiring.
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
Knowledge of Electrical systems operation and maintenance principles.
Intermediate English level in both written and verbal is a must.
Must be willing to support a 24/7 on-call rotation environment to support the needs of the customer.
Preferred Qualifications:
(Level 3, Experienced) 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
(Level 4, Senior) 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work experience with Boeing Airplanes.
Deep knowledge of Electrical systems design.
Knowledge of airplane operating environments.
Knowledge of airplane maintenance and operation documentation, standards and practices.
