We are looking for a hands-on Data Scientist to join our Data and AI R&D function. Our team consists of experts in big data technologies, data processing, generative AI, machine learning, and data analysis, all built on a strong foundation of cybersecurity. You will work alongside experienced Data Scientists and Engineers to build and maintain data- and AI-driven solutions, with a particular focus on Generative AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered solutions with a focus on Generative AI and Cybersecurity use cases.
- Leverage data from our Data Lake to build intelligent, scalable models and applications.
- Collaborate closely with fellow Data Scientists and Data Engineers to ensure robust data pipelines, efficient data access, and model integration
- Continuously evaluate and improve model performance, reliability, and security in production environments.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
What are we looking for?
- Hands-on experience of developing Generative AI solutions. You know your way around tokens, prompt engineering, and Retrieval Augmented Generation. You are familiar with Large Language Models and their integration into real-world applications. You know when to use LangChain, and when not to.
- Experience with relevant programming languages, in particular Python, and related frameworks (pandas, scikit-learn, matplotlib, etc.).
- Experience of software development practices (version control with git)
- Experience of the AWS cloud platform, related services (Sagemaker, Bedrock, Docker).
- Knowledge of MLOps practices and tools for deploying and monitoring models in production.
- Knowledge of data pipelines, ETL processes, and working with large-scale datasets using for example Spark.
- Curiosity and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest developments in AI and data science.
